The Fourfold System

One autumnal morning, snuggling in the Cheshire village of Tattenhall, I found an educational delight, "The Natural School", a pre-school for children from 2 1/2 years old. The school is the result of a deep interest in child development and has been thoughtfully and imaginatively created by Mieke Stephenson-Vierling. Learning is highly creative, based upon a unique four fold system, which encompasses a broad, and child centred approach to learning. When one enters the school one is instantly struck by the bright, fresh learning environment and Mieke's radiating enthusiasm that is grasped by the children. I had a fascinating morning watching the motivated children work eagerly with independence and great concentration. The activities were fun, meaningful, and stimulating for the children. I believe The Natural School offers a well-balanced, innovative approach to learning that will give the children the start to life they deserve.
